Little Lions Farm Stand

Where children grow. Serving the Child, Family and Greater Community.

The Little Lions Farm Stand

The Jazmine Green Memorial Garden is a source of produce not only for the meals served on-site, but also for the community. On the first and third Wednesdays of each month we set up the Little Lion’s Farm Stand to increase community access to fresh produce. The children are allowed to shop with Lion Bucks they earn in their classrooms, but parents are also invited to buy with cash. The farm stand gives Little Ones the opportunity to share our garden with the families in our community. Please follow us on our social media sites to keep up with our Farm to Early Childhood Education events that we will host at Little Ones. The links for our sites can be found at the bottom of the page.

The Little Lions Farm Stand has recently gained attention by the city of Forest Park. Click the link below to read more about what is going on. Take part in the conversation by using #saveourfarmstand.

Common Market – When the stand is short on supply and to offer variety to the community that shops at the farm stand, we partner with Common Market, a nonprofit organization that helps local farms get their fresh fruits and vegetables into their local communities. With their help, we can support Georgia farmers and sustainable food practices while bettering our health.
